Living a healthy active lifestyle... As you will discover at the very start of your training, there are 3 main areas that we are going to focus on for maximum results. The first two are the more obvious ones, which include a healthy well balanced diet, and regular exercise. The less obvious one is looking at your lifestyle and seeing how you can maximise your results. Are you getting the recommended 8 hours of sleep per night? How active are you outside the gym? Do you play any sport or engage in recreational activities? How often do you walk or bike places rather than using a car/bus? Do you find that you try to starve yourself to lose weight? Are you a Yo Yo dieter? Do you suffer from stress or anxiety? What do you do in your every day life that you enjoy and find fun? Do you smoke or drink alcohol? How much time do you set aside each day to completely relax and empty your mind (not including sleep)? Do you maintain good hygiene by showering at least every other day? Do you brush and floss your teeth daily? By living a clean, healthy and active lifestyle you will feel much better in yourself, which will leave you feeling much happier as a person, which in turn will help you achieve far better results in the gym. As your Personal Trainer I will be giving you tips and guidance on how to live a healthier more active lifestyle, and teach you how to maximise your results and feel good about yourself.
